Description
What it is: Cocoa Butter is a pure, crushed butter obtained from the cacao bean. It has a beautiful, rich aroma of dark chocolate. This edible fat from the cocoa pod is a stable fat containing natural antioxidants that give it a long shelf life of over 2 years.
What it does: It has been traditionally used to heal and moisturize skin that has been exposed to the elements. Cocoa butter helps reduce the formation of stretch marks during pregnancy by keeping the skin supple. It is a nourishing addition to lotion bar, lip balm, body butter, soap and belly balm formulations.
How to use it: Chop a small, pea-sized chip from the container using a butter knife. Rub the chip of butter between your palms until it melts, then massage the melted butter onto your skin or hair. You can also use the double boiler method to melt a small amount, then massage into hair or skin. This body butter is in its natural state.
Ingredients: Certified Organic Cocoa Butter.

The mild chocolate scent brings back old memories when I was a child- sweet old memories. It feels luxurious when I rub it on my body. I use a double boiling method to melt it and use the oil to heal old scars.
