Skinsational Scents Soy Candle are hand poured in Savage Maryland and are made to order. Soy wax candles are the most use alternative to most waxes because it is 100% plant based and eco-friendly. Soy wax has a cleaner and longer burn than the traditional paraffin wax. Soy wax candles have an average burn time up to 30 hours in our 8 oz jars. Want to have an everlasting candle (or it may seem everlasting) use a candle warmer in lieu of wick burning.
Recycle, Reduce, Reuse
Our candle jars can be re-purposed! Here are 3 tips to clean and reuse.
Tip 1. Place jar in the freezer overnight. Using a butter knife, scrape the wax from the jar, pluck the wick from the bottom of the jar. Discard the wick and the wax. Wash the jar with warm soapy water.
Tip 2. Place the jar on a candle warmer, once the wax has melted pour the wax into a paper towel or in the trash (NEVER POUR HOT WAX DOWN ANY DRAIN). Use another paper towel to wipe the jar on the inside. Using a butter knife, pluck out the wick and discard. Wash with warm soap water.
Tip 3. Using a butter knife, pluck out the wick from the bottom of jar and discard the wick. Place jar in the microwave for 30 to 45 seconds to melt wax. Pour melted wax in a paper towel or in the trash (NEVER POUR HOT WAX DOWN ANY DRAIN). Use another paper towel wipe out the jar. Wash with warm soapy water.
To remove label: The label will peel off using your hand however for faster removal run the label side of jar under warm water.
